We recommend that your registration forms be received by us at least one month before your due date. Lifebank Is able to accommodate registrations any time prior to your baby’s birth, providing your healthcare professional is aware of your intention to collect your baby's cord blood and time is available to review your completed Lifebank registration documentation to receive your collection kit.

An initial One Time Family Registration Fee of $155.00 covers the costs of the registration process and preparation of the cord blood collection materials, which includes instruction for your healthcare professional.

A $895.00 Processing Fee includes all laboratory services, tests to measure sterility, viability and cell count for maximum cell yield of the cord blood unit, plus maternal blood tests for infectious diseases. This fee also covers all set-up and administrative costs, as well as state-of-the-art computerized temperature controlled freezing.

An annual storage fee of $125.00 provides safe and secure long-term storage in our liquid nitrogen vapour phase storage tanks and covers maintenance costs throughout the year.

Maternal Blood Sample Collection and Transportation costs are not included and vary depending on your region and delivering hospital.

An educational honorarium is provided by Lifebank to the delivering physician or midwife for the service of cord blood collection.
