Lifebank Corp. becomes the FIRST umbilical cord blood bank in Canada to be accredited through the AABB.

"Lifebank’s quality and operational systems assessed (on-site) and “determined to meet or exceed the rigorous requirements set by the association.” Accreditation is extended to Lifebank."

December 09, 2005

Lifebank is Audited on-site by the AABB and has its AABB accreditation extended.

January 31, 2006

Lifebank Corp is inspected by Health Canada.

"on the basis of the inspection carried out and the revised questionnaire and physical examination assessment letter submitted to Health Canada, Lifebank “meets the requirements of the following four critical elements: donor suitability assessment, serological testing, bacteriological testing, and sterilization of the Health Canada Guidance Document.”
